My joy has come from family, particularly from my many grandchildren who have reached the age where we can meet and enjoy each other in an adult fashion. I also enjoy the boundless time and freedom I have to continue to immerse myself in lifetime learning in a number of arenas.
My challenges have come from the increasing infirmities of old age combined with the limitations presented by the virus challenge. I also grieve the loss of two of my continually diminishing number of old friends in the past six months. My desire to enjoy life and to engage in weekly talmud and Torah study remains strong.
