Learned to rely on others for help when needed. Birth is a miracle of God’s creation. Learned not to push prematurely for progress toward recovery as it often leads to setbacks, but to look ahead with hope. Learned to savor the small joys in the everyday – sunshine through the window, phone calls from caring friends, reconnection to distant family, Zoom meetings. FaceTime with the grandchildren brings great pleasure and many laughs. Learn to appreciate the gift of time.
