My story-it is finding myself more involved with pleasures that require concentration, together with being far more connected with friends and family than I was. Although the connection is not of the physical type, the frequency is truly more significant.
Simple routines such as long morning walks with my wife and our dog through the Commonwealth Avenue mall in Boston. The embrace of my wife and the sound of our children’s and grandchildren’s voices either on the phone or FaceTime.
The challenge that notwithstanding the inherent enjoyment of the individual activity there is a sense at the beginning of the day of being discouraged that the new day is the same ole routine experienced all the proceeding days.
