In some ways the Coronavirus makes it more difficult to keep in touch with friends. While you can check in, you can’t really go places together and set up other possibilities to visit. We did have 18 friends to dinner on Erev Rosh Hashanah on Zoom. Fun to see everyone, but difficult to control voices. We also try to Zoom friends and family often just to chat. Still it feels there is a gap in the normal flow. I think we will relish our return to a more ordinary time.
