Peace is the most important aspiration for me right now. A peaceful life. RBG ’s ability to work with her colleagues on the Supreme Court is inspirational. How can I work and live respectfully with people with whom I fundamentally disagree? I am proud of my friendships with people of the other political party. I am proud that I can see the value and goodness and talents in others. ..Yes sometimes it is not easy but I do not want to live in a world of “deplorables , those people, not our kind.. a them and us” world. We really are connected with each other and with all living things. I see that more clearly now than ever before and I see what is really important to me now during the time of Covid-19.
