TBE’s Community Voice

During the last few months, I have been largely, because of my profession, dealing with the second pandemic, the mental health pandemic.  It has been a time of grief for all of us.  For those of us who have recently face loss of one kind or another, the grief has often been overwhelming.  In addition, it is a time of great uncertainty.  For those of us who experience heightened anxiety, the uncertainty has been so challenging.  This is a time when we need connection.  For those of us who have felt our family connection threatened, the longings have been crushing.

My work has also been a place of great gratification.  It has allowed me to often feel deep connection.  It has allowed me to feel like I am making a contribution.

This has been a time of challenge and growth.
