Welcome Shabbat in song and prayer with uplifting music, inspiring liturgy, and a short teaching. Leigh Weiss, daughter of our former senior rabbi, Rabbi Emeritus Ronald Weiss, will speak.
Misha Fox-Rabinovich recently passed away from cancer. Misha, his wife Marina and their son Mishka were welcomed to the United States from the former Soviet Union in 1987 by many members of our temple community, who along with our former senior rabbi, Rabbi Emeritus Ronald Weiss, worked tirelessly to bring them to America and provide for their many needs. Mishka was one of the first Soviet Jews to celebrate his bar mitzvah in America, at our congregation. We hope that you will come to the temple to honor the memory of Misha, as well as Rabbi Weiss, on his third yahrzeit. Rabbi Weiss’ daughter, Leigh will speak.
