Creative Shabbat Worship & Torah Study | Interpretive Challah Shaping (In Person)

Workshop Block #1: Beginning with a shared prayerful experience as we enter our makom together, we’ll then head to the kitchen to explore Jewish text from new angles as you shape your thoughts on the weekly Torah reading into a unique challah design that brings your own Torah to the table! No previous challah experience or artistic skill required, only willing hands and an open mind. Note that we will be working with pre-made dough.

This program is part of Celebrating our Stories through Jewish Arts & Culture, May 5-7: Join us for a weekend-long celebration! Connecting over meals, multi-faceted experiences, songs and stories, we’ll share in the ways that art can express the stories of our souls.
