Sheila and I have a greater appreciation of the small miracles of daily life by being forced to strip away much of what previously occupied our time and minds. We have become even more grateful for our daily blessings of good health and a loving family. We have found that most of what we lost was not essential anyways and the only part we truly miss is closer contact with family and friends and we will focus on expanding that when we can do so safely and not let other priorities intervene. This period has been like a giant Shabbat, giving us a breather and time to reflect and restore our inner peace and focus on what is important.
