“We had decided that we wanted to get married in 2020, so with some necessary modifications, we went ahead. We had a very small ceremony including the kids (actually, now adults) and special blessings by our dear friend Cantor Jodi Schechtman beaming in from Albany. With huge thanks to Rabbi Rachel Saphire, who worked with us to make this happen, and to everyone involved at Temple Beth Elohim. We were honored to be the first wedding back inside the temple and we will be forever grateful.”

In July, Rabbi Rachel Saphire officiated the first wedding to be held in our sanctuary since March, and what a ceremony it was! Mazel tov to Liz and Jeff! It brings us such joy to celebrate a couple under the chuppah in our makom again.
