I am blessed to be sober for 23 years. I have a strong community of sober friends. We are in zoom meetings every day. In the past few months I have met people at meetings world wide. Several of these people I’ve become very close with. The lack of physical proximity with them, with my family and life long friends has caused me to dig for deeper connections to those I care about and to look for even more to care about. The continuing uncertainty of life makes cultivating loving connections all the more precious to me.
