I have spent the last seven months of the pandemic near my extended family and living with my brother on Cape Cod. Being with my family during this incredibly challenging time has brought me joy, especially being able to share time with my brother. I am so lucky to be able to escape the urban environment for the Ocean and nature. I do have to return to San Francisco which with both the pandemic and the worse than ever West Coast fires will be a challenge. This has been a year, for so many reasons, that challenges one’s ability to have hope for a better future but I continue to keep up the faith!
