Dance For Peace (Hybrid)

A fundraising event presented by the TBE Immigration Justice Group and dance students at Bates College including Ruslan Peredelskyi whose mother and grandmother are refugees from Ukraine we have resettled under Uniting For Ukraine. The program will explore through dance the themes of war and peace and issues of belonging, loss of home, the balance of life and death, and the striving for peace.

Immigration Justice: Members of the Immigration Justice Initiative are passionate about immigration and seek to affect change both locally and nationally around this issue. Called by our tradition, which commands us to help the stranger, we refuse to stand idly by as we hear and see the plight of the stranger in our midst.
