Festive Cocktail & Connection Hour (In Person)

Make connections with members of our community while enjoying games, drinks, schmoozing, and perusing Sarah Hurwitz’s book before she speaks! Hosted and facilitated by members of our engagement team.

This event is part of Start Here: Adult Learning Kickoff and Simchat Torah Celebration, featuring Sarah Hurwitz. Join in the celebration of Simchat Torah and the kickoff of our year of adult learning and engagement throughout the day on Saturday, October 7.

This year’s Simchat Torah features:

• Festival morning service, Yizkor, and Torah Study
• Chances throughout the day to sign up for a one-on-one conversation with our team of adult engagement professionals and lay leaders
• Celebratory evening featuring opportunities to connect and reconnect with members of the community over a festive cocktail hour and dinner before hearing from our keynote speaker, Sarah Hurwitz, former White House speechwriter and author of Here All Along: Finding Meaning, Spirituality, and a Deeper Connection to Life — In Judaism (After Finally Choosing to Look There)
