Finding Words for the Unspeakable (Online)

Pain and sorrow are not new to Israelis. But since the massacre of October 7, “The Black Shabbat” as it is called there, a whole nation has been grieving, unable to process what has happened. Words cannot describe the horror. And yet, in the midst of this unspeakable pain, Israeli poets have found words for their new reality. Join Dr. Judy Avnery for two sessions of Israeli poets’ responses to October 7.
