Friday Evening Service with Omri, an IDF Brigade Operations Officer (Hybrid)

Join us in the sanctuary to welcome Shabbat in song and prayer. This evening, we will have the opportunity to hear from Omri, a Brigade Operations Officer in the IDF who will share his experiences of the current conflict. This service is also accessible on Zoom. About Omri
Major (res.) Omri is an IDF veteran who served in Givati Brigade’s Special Forces, and as a combat company commander. In his reserves duty, he is serving as a Brigade Operations Officer. Omri and his unit got called in the first hours of October 7 to arrive to the region and join the combat forces at the front line.

Omri left his combat service and joined his reserves unit one year ago, after he was injured in combat twice during his service. Omri is a Public Diplomacy and International Relations expert, and managed an international organization promoting Israel’s standing in Europe and the US. He is married to Libat, and a proud father to Yuval, Mika and Ron.
