Let’s Talk About Race & Identity: Family Storytime & Learning (In Person)
- Saturday, May 21, 2022
- 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Join us in person
Join Rabbi Philip, Cantor Josh, and Brave Light Library (BLL) in a family-friendly experience about race, identity, and justice. BLL is a locally based, future-oriented non-profit organization dedicated to providing parents with tools to raise the next generation of “bright lights,” racially conscious and socially aware kids who will reimagine the way our world works. We’ll read a selected book together as a group, and then parents and children will separately engage in discussion and activities inspired by the book. As a community, we’ll learn about how we can take this essential next step towards Tikkun Olam, repairing the world.
This program is intended for 3–8 year olds and their grownups. This program is offered in partnership with Brave Light Library.
