About Olivia
Hello TBE community! I am Olivia Hoffman. I am a 7th grader at Blake Middle School, where my favorite class is English. I really enjoy creative writing and I love to read so it is a fun class for me!
Theater and singing have always been an important part of my life. I have been in 13 shows since the age of 5, including The Descendants, High School Musical, and Beauty and the Beast, many of which I did with Linx Theater in Wellesley. Nowadays, I perform mainly in school plays, which is really fun because I get to spend a lot of time with my friends at rehearsals! I have even had a couple of lead roles over the years, such as Annie in Annie and Wendy in Peter Pan.
I am an only child, but we have a “Pandemic-Puppy”, an energetic Cavagoldoodle named Charley, who I love dearly. Though my parents, Jules and Jeff, might claim otherwise, I think it’s fair to say that I am the funniest member of our family!

This summer, I went to overnight camp for the first time, attending Camp Pembroke. Since my experience there, I feel like I have become much more connected with my Jewish heritage in a meaningful way!
I am really looking forward to becoming a Bat Mitzvah because I have worked really hard and I am proud of myself for how far I have come! Also, given how difficult it has been to gather in large groups over the past couple of years, I am especially excited to be with all of my friends and family to celebrate this important day in my life!
