About Cole
Dear TBE Community,
My name is Cole Ogden and I moved from Dallas to Newton four years ago. My family and I
joined TBE three years ago. I am a seventh grader and go to Shady Hill School. My favorite subject at school is C.S. It is a mixture of history and literature. This is my favorite subject because I love to read and learn about the past. I also enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures. I enjoy trying new and exotic foods and learning new languages.
There are six members of my family. My mom, dad, older sister, and two younger brothers. As a family, we enjoy skiing in the winter and traveling abroad in the summer.
To me, becoming a Bar-Mitzvah means becoming a responsible member of the Jewish Community. I am looking forward to getting involved in our community by participating in Desk Mates where I will be building a desk to help students who lack a personal study and learning space at their home. Becoming a Bar- Mitzvah also means that all my hard work has paid off for studying for my Bar-Mitzvah ceremony. I’m so grateful to be able to celebrate this milestone with my family and friends.
