About Ella
Hi TBE community, my name is Ella Kramer. I absolutely love sports— especially ones I can do with my friends. Some of my favorites are dance, field hockey, tennis, and basketball. I am the sportiest in my family (even though my 10 year old brother Evan doesn’t agree) and also the best baker that ever entered our kitchen. A year ago my family adopted a Golden Retriever named Rocky. I am in seventh grade at The Rivers School where my favorite subject is humanities because I enjoy learning about history. I also really like art even though I’m not particularly good at it.
Becoming a Bat Mitzvah makes me very proud and I am excited for October 1st to deliver what I have been working on for quite a while. My service project is raising awareness and money for the DJ Henry Dream Fund (https://djdreamfund.org/). This organization empowers children to stay active by providing scholarships to children in need to participate in community-based athletics, arts and summer camps. I feel a special connection to this organization because of my love for sports and my passion to share this with all kids regardless of their financial situation.
