Reaching for the Moon: Campfire Havdalah & Celestial Celebration (In Person)

Gather with community in the TBE courtyard to schmooze, learn, and sing together over a bonfire and s’mores as we watch for three stars to appear in the sky, the signal that shabbat has ended and that it’s time to do the beautiful ritual of havdalah together. Once the sky is dark and the moon appears, we’ll have a chance to engage in a ritual never before seen at TBE: kiddush levanah! Don’t know what it is? Great; come and learn! Hint: it involves reaching for the moon; jumping, and dancing optional. This event is open to TBE members of all ages.
