Selichot Service and Learning Featuring Author Jessica Fein (Hybrid)

Begin a spiritual journey of growth and reflection as we prepare for the season of awe and renewal after a year that has brought much grief and brokenness. Join for all or part of the evening as we transition into the High Holy Days, beginning with a chance to contribute to this year’s community artwork, Kalaniyot: Blooms of Memory, and continuing with a special teaching and conversation with acclaimed author, podcaster, and speaker Jessica Fein, author of Breath Taking: A Memoir of Family, Dreams, and Broken Genes. Finally, we’ll enter our Selichot service of reflective worship, punctuated by the familiar melodies of the High Holy Days and the changing of our Torah scroll covers, as we set the tone for the spiritual work of the season.

• 8:30: Dessert Reception, Book Signing and Opportunity to Participate in a Communal Project
• 9:15: Selichot Service and Changing of the Torah Covers in the Sanctuary
