About Eliza
Hello Temple Beth Elohim.
My name is Eliza Lazzarino and after school you can find me at Exxcel Gymnastics in Newton. I am there everyday for four hours and love my teammates and coaches and all the support I am given. I started gymnastics when I was just three years old and it has been my passion ever since then. I love to be at the gym the most because it is a place where I can forget what is going on outside of gymnastics and just focus on the present! I have two older sisters, Anna and Allie. Anna is 19 and it is her first year of college at University of Virginia, and Allie is 21 and works at Stop and Shop and Cheesecake Factory. I am the youngest in the family but also the funniest! I am an eighth grader at Wellesley Middle School where my favorite class is definitely math. What I love about this subject is that everyone can think about just one problem differently, and to me that is awesome! As a bat mitzvah, I am happy to take on adulthood in the Jewish community. For my service project, I am a coach for the Special Olympics gymnastics team in Newton Massachusetts. Their first competition in June. Coaching these amazing kids is very important to me since my sister Allie also has special needs, and has participated in the Special Olympics as a runner.
