Tisha B’Av is a day of collective mourning and remembrance on the Jewish calendar. This year especially, we will focus on the tragedy of October 7th in our service of commemoration.
We join with the Jewish community around the world in marking this day with prayer and study, remembering our responsibility to counteract sinat chinam (baseless hatred), whether ancient or contemporary, wherever we find it.
We will mark Tisha B'Av together with a service of poetry, reading Eicha (Lamentations), and a brief teaching.
