As I reflect on my own story of the past few months, I have learned that there are some things in life that are just more important than others. Health and family top the list. As many were dying from the Covid virus and my husband was in the ICU and then rehab with different issues and we didn’t know what would be, I reflected alot about life. The type of car I drove to the hospital didn’t matter nor did the clothes I wore on my back or the pocketbook I carried on my shoulder. All I wanted was the health of my husband to return. With prayers from all and support from our family and friends, we are on the road to recovery. I am grateful for these things everyday and do not take too much granted anymore. Unfortunately it takes an incident of great proportion to make one reflect on life itself.
