My story has been zooming with friends from high school and elementary school. We have given each other comfort and support. I have been brought joy by the simple pleasure of eating at home with my wife. I received enormous pleasure leading a TBELLE class and being appreciated for doing so.
I have received joy from our Shabbat Services. I was brought joy by Rabbi Saphire’s surprise Rosh Hashanah call. My greatest challenge has not to despair, to find hope that the pandemic will end, that our society will not crumble and the earth will not be consumed by climate change.
