Our greatest joy during the pandemic is when we were finally able to see some of our family. We have social distanced with our daughter and her children because they are local. Our granddaughter and her boyfriend, who live in New Jersey, visited in August because they thought it was time for “the elders” to have some company. We social distanced but what a thrill to have them. Our older son and his wife visited when they took their son the college. We have only been able to Zoom and Face Time with our children in Chicago and it’s probably going to be a long time before we can see them..but little things do mean a lot.
We pray that the New Year will bring our family together again.
