Because of the use of zoom, many meetings that were held in person in the past are now able to include people who are not in the neighborhood. For example, my class from Columbia (1960) has always had a monthly lunch in New York and 10-12 classmates would attend, all from the New York Area. When I moved to Maine I couldn’t attend. However, the lunch is now held by zoom and not only can I attend, but now classmates from all over the world are linking up, some whom I haven’t seen since college. We now have about 25 on the monthly zoom. it is great to see old friends again.
