Each week as Shabbat begins, we’re asking a member of the TBE community to share a photo that represents shalom to them. Today, Margie Nesson shares a Shabbat/Shalom reflection:

As I stand peacefully at the waters edge
I can see this moon clearly and it fills me with awe.

As it spills gold onto the gently rippling waves
I breathe deeply . . .what tomorrow bring?

Will it bring peace? ripples? or crushing waves?
Will our days be tranquil or stormy?

I pray that this new day coming brings us healing,
Love, friendship, understanding and acceptance 

As we all inhabit this planet together
May we do so with love and friendship.

Praying for Shalom, for possibilities, and blessings for us all.
