For the COVID quarantine, we continued to see our children, their partners and our grandchild. Doing so on a regular basis while isolated from so many other friends and family has deepened our connection to them and made our lives more full. With other friends, it’s been harder, but we learned how much we love and value each other and found ways to connect by video, and by physically distant visits. Sadly, it’s hard to connect with people I didn’t previously know, but I have begun to do so in my work life, mainly by video.
