When I reflect on the past several months, I see how adaptable most of us were. So much had been taken away. What we were left with was the question: What is essential? Most of us found a way to achieve what is essential: connection with those who are special to us and connection to our community. We learned that we could do without getting our hair cut or a special food item or restaurants or travel or theater. May I always keep an eye on the essential!
